Invite your pastor to REAP!

Jim Rathbun, TEAM’s Church Connections Facilitator, wants to invite the pastor or missions pastor from your Sending Church to join us for the first few days of the conference – as TEAM’s guest. Once you register, you will receive a letter from Jim asking for the name and email (or phone number) of the pastor or appropriate person at your church who should be invited.

REAP 2011 is an unparalleled opportunity to meet TEAM colleagues, literally from around the world. Hearing others' stories and interacting with global colleagues and home office staff are highlights of the conference. Expect to be revitalized by being with like-minded people.

The Wheaton College Bookstore will have a selection of books available at a discount for REAP participants, including a special selection focused on coaching.

Worship will again be led by a TEAM-Wheaton staff worship team with their highly personal and charming style. We think that you will enjoy this opportunity to connect on a whole new level with staff who normally serve you in very different functions.

Arrival & Departure Times

  • REAP 2011 check-in is from 1:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 23. Dinner (from 5:30-6:30 p.m.) is the first meal served, and the first meeting starts Saturday evening at 6:45 p.m.

  • The last session will end at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28 . Breakfast is included on Friday morning, July 29. All TEAM personnel must check out of their rooms by 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 29.

  • Thinking of arriving late or leaving early? We strongly urge you to participate in the whole week from beginning to end. The biggest victims of an abbreviated stay are your MKs. They have a hard time breaking into a group that’s already meeting, and they hate leaving early when the others are staying.

Housing

  • We will be staying in Smith Hall on the campus of Wheaton College. Read more..

  • Rooms: There are two single beds per room, some adjoining rooms have a lockable door between. Separate bathrooms for men and women are located on each floor. Read more..

  • Children five years of age and under may sleep free-of-charge in the same room with parents in parent-provided sleeping equipment (limit one child per room; no bed or towel linens are provided). Read more..

  • We place families in adjacent rooms. Wherever possible, we assign MK's aged 10 and older to a room with other MK's of similar age and gender, instead of with their families. They will be assigned to a room on the same floor as their parents. We have found that this additional interaction with peers greatly enhances their REAP experience. If you would like to request that your MKs only room with family members, please note this in the "Special requests or questions" section at the end of the registration form. Read more..
